Following planning permission being granted by the Council in February 2020, refurbishment work to the former Grays Court Community Hospital are progressing well with our contractor, United Living.
As a reminder of the scheme, permission was granted to refurbish the building to provide up to 62 rooms for Temporary Accommodation use. The scheme is particularly focused around providing temporary accommodation to families in need. The previous clinic service provided by the Partnerships of East London Cooperatives will resume from Grays Court once the scheme is completed. Currently we are anticipating completion in early 2021.
Our contractor, United Living, are issuing regular communications with updates on progress, and works in the forthcoming weeks. If you are a local resident to Grays Court and are not receiving this, please get in touch with Be First at communities@befirst.london

Before we submit a planning application, we would like to hear your views on
the proposals, including ideas for community activities and the services that
could be provided.
We are holding a drop in session 3-8pm at the Grays Court
Hospital on Thursday 5 September.
