Hi, I have been a resident in the Barking Riverside area since 2016. I feel the area is seriously lacking in community & youth services. There is a growing number of residents from the Muslim community whom do not have a dedicated prayer space and facilities. There is a urgent need for a space for the Muslim community enabling them to provide educational & youth services as well as services to the wider community.
We have currently have a very young community whereby there is a lack of provisions and activities aimed at them. The location you are planning on building would be ideal for a space where the commnuity to have provisions for the development and growth of this area. I would seriously urge you to consider offering a space for the local community and not soley have it for industrial purposes.
