Tell us what you think of the changes to Tenterden Road junction with Green Lane

The Mayor of London is supporting efforts to make The Fiddlers (Becontree Heath) a happier, healthier, and greener place through the Mayor’s Air Quality Fund. This is to make it easier for you to walk, wheel, and cycle.

As part of our works to make Tenterden Road junction with Green Lane a greener, safer, more welcoming area we narrowed the junction and raised the surface making it level with the pavement, removed some parking spaces opposite the school entrance, installed new planters and bollards and added some cycle parking.

The changes to the road layout have been in place since Autumn 2021 with removal of pavement parking in February 2022 and installation of planters in March 2022. The project is drawing to a close and we want to hear your thoughts on the changes we have made.
