Tell us what you think of the changes to Stour Road and Althorne Way
The Mayor of London is supporting efforts to make The Fiddlers (Becontree Heath) a happier, healthier, and greener place through the Mayor’s Air Quality Fund. This is to make it easier for you to walk, wheel, and cycle.
As part of our works to make Stour Road and Althorne Way a greener, safer, more welcoming area we planted bee corridor beds and trees on Althorne Way, installed a parklet with bench seating, cycle parking and planting and painted an informal colourful crossing adjacent to the pupil entrance to William Bellamy Primary School.
The bee corridor planting was completed in early 2022 with some trees still to come in autumn 2022. The parklet and crossing works were installed in early March 2022 and a Cyclehoop Bikehangar providing secure storage for six cycles was installed May 28 at the base of Peverel House.
The project is drawing to a close and we want to hear your thoughts on the changes we have made.
Your views and feedback are important to us. Please take a few minutes to complete the following questions to help us understand the impact of this work.
We have a separate survey collecting feedback on the colourful crossing, you can access it here.
Completing this survey should take 5 minute and as a thank you, you'll be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw where you could win £25 of shopping vouchers.
This survey closes on July 8 2022.
