We are planning to build new affordable homes and modern business spaces on the corner of Thames Road and Crossness Road.
It is the first stage of our plan to radically improve the local environment and to provide new jobs and affordable modern homes for local people in the Thames Road area.
12 Thames Road is a large site so we could build as many as 150 homes, together with green spaces and play areas. At the same time, it could provide room for new or expanding businesses, with up to 5,000 square meters of light industrial space. Our ambition would be to build the entire new development to meet the highest possible environmental standards.
It's an exciting new project which will help to start upgrade the local landscape and improve connections between Barking Riverside and Thames View.
